The main focus was to experiment with layout, themes and narrative with an extract from a book. Having freedom with the visual content, I created drawings, paintings, logo/ masthead and photographs, giving me the artistic quality I wanted for my zine. Using my passion for analog work and minimalism, the visuals were very simple, using white space, monochrome colours and handwritten part. With the body, type and columns, I kept it simple but still explore different formats. Most of the copy is legible, but some are more abstract, text is off the page, distorted or overlapped by an image.
