A self initiated project that explores emerging issues and combines them with my interests. I developed work in response to the research, previous artistic work and my passion for analog mark making. When thinking of a purpose and a user for my brief, it was clear that I focused on the hard of hearing and how people with hearing difficulties consume music. Each piece reflects different genres, communicating the beat, pitch, speed and tone of different music. Groove is in response my final brief: To produce a creative, visual and personal way of consuming music.
